项目背景:解州关帝庙为武庙之祖,地处山西运城市解州镇西关。北靠盐池,面对中条。创建于隋开皇九年(589年),宋、明时曾扩建和重修,清康熙四十一年(1702年)毁于火,经十余年始修复。
解州关帝庙总面积22万平方米,共有房舍200多间,分为正庙和结义园两部分,是现存规模最大的宫殿式道教建筑群和武庙,被誉为“关庙之祖”、“武庙之冠”。庙内悬挂有康熙御笔“义炳乾坤”、乾隆钦定“神勇”、咸丰御书“万世人极”、慈禧太后亲书“威灵震叠”等匾额,代表建筑是“春秋楼”。
“关公信俗”已被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录,“关公文化节”被评为中国十大人物类节庆活动之一。2012年,“关圣文化建筑群”被列入中国世界文化遗产预备名单。
